Wiz Khalifa & Curren$y – Live In Concert (Tracklist?)

With their years-in-the-making follow-up to How Fly dropping this Saturday (April 20th), a tentative tracklisting has surfaced on the Internets. Whether or not this is the “final version” remains to be seen (as both Spitta and Khalifa haven’t confirmed or denied this), but it’s safe to say that fans of both artists will finally get their wish fulfilled this weekend. Check out the rumored tracklisting down bottom. SHAKE UPDATE: Just as I guessed, the tracklist is fake. Spitta took to Twitter to denounce the rumor and state that it’s just Wiz and him on the project. I’ll leave the fake tracklist up just for shits and giggles though. Saturday will be here soon enough!

1. There We Go (prod. & Sledgren) 2. Classic (prod. Cardo) 3. Fast Food (prod. I.D. Labs) 4. Lookin’ Like f. Juicy J (prod. Juicy J & Crazy Mike) 5. The Planes Pt. II f. Big K.R.I.T. (prod. Big K.R.I.T.) 6. Money Growin’ f. Smoke DZA & Young Roddy (prod. The Futuristiks) 7. Ready Rolled (prod. Daz Dillinger) 8. Proceed f. Big Sean (prod Cardo)

J. Cole Breaks Down “Power Trip” Production (Video)

With the release date (June 25th for those sleeping under a rock) for Born Sinner, J. Cole revists the creative process behind the production of his “Power Trip” single with Miguel. Click here to watch the official video and head to iTunes to support.

Towards the end of the clip (7:04 mark to be exact), Cole also plays a pretty dope beat he made for Jay-Z. Will it ever be used? Only time will tell.

Jay-Z Sells Ownership in Brooklyn Nets

In order to avoid any conflicts with his new Roc Nation Sports endeavor, Jay-Z followed NBA rules and has relinquished his ownership in the Brooklyn Nets. Utilizing his Life+Times website, Hov (who was recently reported to be apart of the first music industry billionaire couple w/ Beyonce) penned a letter about the situation. Read after the jump.

Being a member of the Nets organization surpassed some of my greatest ambitions. It was never about an investment; it was about the NETS and Brooklyn. My job as an owner is over but as a fan it has just begun. I’m a Brooklyn Net forever. It’s been an honor to work with Mikhail Prokhorov, Dmitry Razumov, Christophe Charlier, ONEXIM Sports and Entertainment, Brett Yormark and all the wonderful people involved in making the Nets first class. My sincerest thanks goes to Bruce Ratner, who first introduced the idea of moving the Nets to Brooklyn. A thank you and deepest appreciation goes to the fans. You are the lifeblood of any team.

The Nets have made their mark on the NBA and as they enter a new era, Roc Nation does as well; as we embark on Roc Nation Sports. Our newest endeavor is committed to building the brands of professional athletes as we have done for some of today’s top music artists. For Roc Nation Sports to function at its full potential, NBA rules stipulate that I relinquish my ownership in the Brooklyn Nets. It was a tough decision but as I stated earlier, it’s not about ownership. Congratulations to The Nets on a great season and making the playoffs! I will always be a Brooklyn Net.

The Brooklyn Nets will make their NBA playoff debut this Saturday against the Chicago Bulls. Click here for the full schedule (and to talk trash to other basketball fans).

PMK x Eigthy81 x Cleveland Classic Bespoke Nike Air Force 1 “Letterman”

PMK x Eigthy81 x Cleveland Classic Bespoke Nike Air Force 1 “Letterman”

<!-- end .galleria-gallery -->

Made for DJ Steph Floss, PMK and Eighty 81 have come together to craft this pair of Nike Air Force 1 Low Bespoke, which is definitely has school spirit. The shoe sports a unique design along the upper, which is constructed primarily from wool.

Meanwhile, leather branding, patchwork, and pins are put to use, and definitely add even more depth to this already busy look. Aside from the use of materials and pins, what also catches your eye is the blend of colors, which include blue, brown, gold, and yellow. Would you rock this pair of Nike Air Force 1s?

New Video: Elle Varner – “I Don’t Care”

elledontcare

This is a new side of Elle Varner.

One of our favorite fresh faces gets in touch with her sensual side in the video for her sexy single “I Don’t Care”. In the new visual, she gets familiar with her good looking co-star all while story lines play out of other interracial and same-sex couples who have to deal with society hating on their love affairs.  But with a little defiance, love dramatically conquers all.

So far, Elle has remained consistent with releasing compelling videos to accompany her single choices. [Refill is a personal favorite.] She’s definitely going to be one of those soulful artists who will be around for years to come.
