Yesterday the one and only Shaquille O’Neal announced his retirement via Twitter. The larger than life icon did so in a nonchalant manner, but the man of many quotables has a career that speaks for itself. Having played with the likes of Penny, Kobe, Nash, Wade, and LeBron, Shaq has always been in a league of his own. Though slowed by toe injuries and taco neck syndrome, Shaq has done it all on and off the court with a smile on his face. Today we celebrate the career of the league’s most charismatic star by retracing his footprints.
