With a variety of big releases on the horizon, the Air Jordan 7 “Cardinal” is flying relatively under the radar in terms of hype. Today, more photos have surfaced of this Jordan Brand OG colorway that reveals a significant amount of detail. Tumbled and smooth white leather are paired for a clean overall look, while red and bronze accents provide just the right amount of contrast for a summer shoe. Check out more detailed images below.

Yesterday the one and only Shaquille O’Neal announced his retirement via Twitter. The larger than life icon did so in a nonchalant manner, but the man of many quotables has a career that speaks for itself. Having played with the likes of Penny, Kobe, Nash, Wade, and LeBron, Shaq has always been in a league of his own. Though slowed by toe injuries and taco neck syndrome, Shaq has done it all on and off the court with a smile on his face. Today we celebrate the career of the league’s most charismatic star by retracing his footprints.

Before he was Wilt Chamberleezy he channeled another Laker legend. A young Shaquille rocked Kareem Abdul-Jabbar’s number, colors, and kicks at LSU. The little Diesel that could kicked it into LA Gear bringing both conference and national player of the year honors to the Bayou.

It’ll consist offootwear and apparel carrying some exclusive items from A.P.C., Original Fake, and of course, a Nike Tier Zero account. We take a look at one of latest pairs of sunglasses to come from Los Angeles brand Chrome Hearts for Summer 2011. As with most of their collection, these sunglasses also come with a great span of details, including the application of leather, metal and aged 925 silver. The sunglasses, which come in a classic aviator form, are available this season in two colorways.

MJ made news when he laced up his Air Jordan I at MSG in his final game there as a Bull. He’s once again using his classic silhouette to make some noise. It was revealed earlier today that to stock the Jordan Brand archives with the classic silhouette, Michael Jordan donated his own pair of AJ1 samples. Now while it’s easy to assume he still has storages units full of this classic, it’s can’t be easy to part with such a legendary piece of American sports history.

This past Tuesday, May 17, 2011, Complex and Footlocker came together to celebrate the launch of Sneakerpedia, a social wiki that has information on a wide variety of kicks. Despite the rainy evening in New York City , sneaker fanatics and celebrities came together at Hudson Hotel’s Good Units to celebrate the launch, and everyone was definitely dressed to impress. We saw a variety of kicks, ranging from old skool shoes to more recent releases.

The first floor included a stage and dance floor area, which was definitely put to use as many sneaker celebs graced the mic, including DJ Clark Kent, Mayor, DJ Greg Street and UGK’s Bun B., who headlined the event with his performance towards the end. Other well-known sneakerheads were present, including Ronnie Fieg who rocked his own Asics shoe, and All Day from Team ATF, who had us all in awe  over his camouflage AF1 Bespoke. Check out the detailed pictures below, and check out some the kicks that we were lucky enough to be in the presence of.
