Donatello Italian Restaurant & Lounge is a luxurious dining destination that offers a truly authentic Italian experience, portrayed not only through its traditional Italian menu but also its stunning interiors, knowledgeable staff and welcoming ambience. This month the restaurant introduces its new dessert menu created by the culinary talents of Fabio Tramontano, to allow even the speediest lunchtime diner a moment to indulge and escape the pressures of the working day.

The menu now features a selection of unique panna cotta desserts created with love by Fabio. Panna cotta is a traditional dessert from the Northen Italian region of Piemont, although it is eaten all over Italy. The classic recipe is made with cream and sugar; however Fabio has added his own twist by adding chocolate, an idea that he came up with whilst working in Switzerland. The mix of panna cotta and chocolate make this dessert irresistible.

Panna cotta is traditionally a very light option for dessert and was specially added by Fabio to cater to a demand for a healthy and lighter dessert option, especially as summer approaches. Each dessert is exquisitely presented with a selection of garnishes includng dark chocolate, passion fruit and slow cooked fruit to offset the pure white of the cotta itself. The panna cotta sits alongside traditional Italian desserts currently on the menu, including a tirasmisu, mouth watering chocolate fondant and trolley of fine Italian cheeses.

Donatello is the perfect venue for an intimate dinner, larger corporate lunch or social celebration, and can be hired outright for especially large groups. The business lunch has enjoyed fast success with the surrounding community, priced at just 145 AED for three courses, and served from start to finish in 40 minutes. Furthermore, the Donatello Lounge is the ideal location for a relaxing drink before the meal, or a reviving coffee before heading back to the office.
