The LG Optimus G is coming soon and is on par to capture those who previously had their eyes set on the Samsung Galaxy S III. The “G” is due for release in Korea this September and shortly after, worldwide.

The Android powered G will run a quad core version of Snapdragon over 2GB of RAM with a 4.7” HD LCD touchscreen bearing 1280×768 resolution. The phone also measures a mere 8.45 mm with a rear and front facing 13 MP camera.

The LG Optimus G will also have waterproof features with a new battery that will operate 60% better than smartphone batteries in the same class, marking a truly awesome smartphone innovation by LG.  Keep your eyes peeled for full details and more at LG.
